Terms of Use

These terms cover the Leedra website, the waitlist, and the Leedra app while it is in private beta. By joining the waitlist or using an account, you agree to them.

Leedra is unfinished and under active development. Features may change, break, or be removed. The service may be unavailable without notice, and we may reset data during the beta. Please do not rely on Leedra to store anything you cannot afford to lose.

Anyone can join the waitlist. Joining reserves a place in line — it is not a guarantee of access, and it does not commit us to a date. Use your own email address; we send one confirmation to it and, later, an invitation if a place opens.

Accounts require a valid invite code during the beta. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it. Do not share, sell or publish an invite code that was issued to you.

Do not use Leedra to:

• break the law, or help anyone else do so
• harass, threaten, impersonate or endanger anyone
• post content you have no right to post
• send spam or run automated signups
• probe, overload or interfere with the service or the systems behind it

What you post on Leedra stays yours. By posting it, you give us permission to host and display it so the product can work — show your post in a feed, deliver your message to its recipient, and so on. That permission ends when you remove the content, except where we are required to keep a copy or it has already been shared with others.

The Leedra name, logo, design and software are ours. These terms do not give you the right to reuse them.

You can stop using Leedra whenever you want, and ask us to delete your account. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts other people or the service at risk.

Leedra is provided as it is, while it is being built. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Needs legal review: The limitation-of-liability language a beta service normally carries is deliberately absent. It needs to be drafted by a lawyer rather than approximated here.

We will update these terms as Leedra develops, and the date at the top will change with them. Continuing to use Leedra after an update means you accept the updated terms.
