Privacy Policy

Leedra is a product in private beta. This page describes what information the Leedra website and app collect today, and what happens to it. It reflects how the software currently works — not a wider set of commitments.

The waitlist form asks for:

• your name
• your email address
• your country (optional)
• your organization or school (optional)
• the interest areas you select

That is the whole record. We store it so we can contact you when beta access opens, and so we can see roughly who is interested in Leedra and where they are.

Accounts are invite-only during the beta. If you create one, we store the email address and password you sign up with, the invite code you used, and whatever you choose to put in your profile — username, display name, bio, country and region, university, occupation, languages and interests, and a profile photo if you upload one. We also store the content you create in the product, such as posts, comments, messages and listings.

The app records product events — for example that a waitlist signup happened, or that a post was created. Each event stores the event name, an optional reference to the item it relates to, a small amount of related detail, whether the device is a phone, tablet or desktop, and your user ID if you are signed in. We use this to understand how Leedra is being used.

We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

We use two service providers, and they only handle what they need to:

• Supabase — hosts the database and handles sign-in. Your waitlist record, account and content are stored there.
• Resend — sends our email. It receives your name and email address so it can deliver the message.

Needs legal review: The regions these providers store data in, and whether a data processing agreement is required with either, still need to be confirmed and described here.

Joining the waitlist sends you one confirmation email. If you have an account, we also send email you ask for or need — address verification and password resets. We do not currently send marketing newsletters.

You can ask us to delete your waitlist entry or your account at any time by emailing hello@leedra.app. Tell us the email address you signed up with so we can find the record.

Needs legal review: How long we keep waitlist entries and closed accounts has not been decided. A retention period belongs here.

Waitlist submissions are validated and written by our server, not by your browser, and the keys that can read or change the database are held on the server only. Access to waitlist data inside the product is restricted to administrators. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Leedra is early and still changing. When what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.

Needs legal review: A registered company name, postal address, the legal basis we rely on for processing, our position on users under 18, and how international transfers are handled are all still open. They are deliberately not stated here rather than guessed at.
